Excellent opportunity for a Senior Chartered Structural/Civil Engineer.
Due to an increased workload and several new projects, we have an opportunity for an experienced Chartered Structural/Civil Engineer to join our team. We have a strong industry reputation offering Civil Structural, Environmental and Conservation Consultancy services.
The Role
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside our in-house team to provide engineering expertise in the successful delivery of residential, industrial, and commercial developments. Structural Design / Detailing and Specification on various projects. Design Certifier & Assigned Certifier responsibilities. Effective communication with Design Teams, clients, staff and external associates.
The Company
Reporting to the Company Director, the candidate’s duties will include project lead, carrying out and reviewing/checking designs by others, liaising with Clients, design team and contractor and supporting the growth and development of the Team. As Senior Civil Structural Engineer you will be responsible for developing designs and working as part of a team whilst liaising with Clients, Contractors and Design Teams. You will work on a range of projects from residential housing schemes, commercial and industrial developments.
Applicants must have:
- A level 8 Bachelor of Engineering in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Chartership or working toward it essential.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ post-graduate experience.
- Be self-motivated and be able to work on your own initiative along with being a team player.
- Fluent English.
- Good working Knowledge of AutoCAD/REVIT and other relevant design software
- Comfortable in Multi-disciplinary team and able to collaborate with all relevant departments throughout project lifecycle.
- Excellent Design abilities of Steel and Concrete Frame Structured.
- Drainage System Design experience
