Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Requirement: a Minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified motor technician trained to diagnose and carry out mechanical and electrical faults on modern cars, trucks and plant machinery.
Proof of Trade certificate
NQF level 4/N3

Duties
• Excellent service and repair skills
• Diligent with a flexible approach to work.
• Maintenance and servicing of HGV Trucks, car and plant machinery
• Diagnostic checks and Fault Finding
• Self-Motivation
• Ability to work to high standards.
• Complying with garage health and safety standards
• Be able to liaise with Transport Office on Requirements on Truck, car and plant machinery.
• Good Knowledge of Modern diagnostic Equipment
• Fault find mechanical, Hydraulic and basic electrical faults and repair equipment in breakdown situation/s.
• Clear understanding of Diagnostic equipment and procedures.
• To anticipate, report or repair any equipment requiring remedial work that may affect the continuity of Plant operations.
• To complete accurate records for all work completed using Service and Inspection schedules.
• To identify and maintain quantity and functionality of tools and equipment.
• Maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics of HGV Trucks
• Electrics, Mechanics Diagnostics.
• Must have Diesel and Petrol however more Diesel experience is required.
• Basic welding experience.
• Fix and repair Jack of all trades. 
• Drivers Licence.
• Problem solving is key aspect of the Job.
• Great attention to detail.
• Calm and effective customer management.

Benefits
Gross Annual Remuneration €38k
40 hours per week at an hourly rate of €18.27
