Job Description

Job Title:  Draughtsman

Our client is looking for a self-motivated draftsman who can work alongside a number of specialists at our company. The draftsman will form part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, and should be comfortable working at an adjustable table as well as a computer terminal. You will usually work at our offices, but will at times need to fulfil travel requirements and work on-site.

Tasks required by this job include but not limited to:
Responsibilities include building models, sketches, drawings and blueprints using 2D and 3D design software.  A work portfolio in PDF format must be submitted with CV. 
Examines design specification to determine general requirements.
Considers the suitability of different materials with regard to the dimensions and weight and calculates the likely fatigue, stresses, tolerances, bonds and threads.
Prepares design drawings, plans or sketches and checks feasibility of construction and compliance with safety regulations.
Prepares detailed drawings, plans, charts or maps that include natural features, desired surface finish, elevations, electrical circuitry and other details as required.
Arranges for completed drawings to be reproduced for use as working drawings.

Qualifying Questions:

Are you proficient in AutoCad & Revit?
Can you work independently and provide guidance and support for team members?
Can you work with project engineers to ensure timely delivery and the ability to manage several priorities?
Can you communicate effectively in spoken, reading & written English?
Do you have a SA / EU / UK driver license?

Benefits
Gross Annual Remuneration is €35-€40k depending on experience.
40 hours per week at an hourly rate of €19.23. 
Will assist in relocation with first month rental costs.
Will cover the work permit application cost.
Will cover first year residential permit cost.
