Tower Crane Technician / Millwright

Millwright Qualification, Diagnostic and repairing mechanical issues, HGV drivers licence essential.

Duties:

Experience and comfort working at heights
Electrical fault finding experience
Performing regular inspections of tower cranes
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
Replacing faulty parts/bearings/ropes
Performing preventative maintenance
Maintaining accurate records of each service performed
Providing advice on maintenance strategies and procedures
Experience working with and on cranes, either directing cranes or repairs
Experience in carrying out heavy plant repairs
Knowlegge of lifting equipment, such as chains, slings etc
Required to assist and attend erection and dismantling of Tower cranes

Qualifying questions:

Do you possess an excellent knowledge of safety on a construction site?
Are you a qualified Millwright?
Do you have vast knowledge of different types of construction machinery and their uses?
Are you of a great level of physical fitness?
Do you consider yourself great with communication ability?
Do you have a valid Drivers Licence and Passport?
