Job Description

Planer Driver / Asphalt Paver with experience in road works environment. 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt plaining for commercial paving projects.

Experience with Wirtgen 210i machine preferred.

Requirements:- 

Be responsible for executing paving procedures, setting feed sensors and determining material placement.

Be responsible for daily maintenance on the equipment.

Have an understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems. 

Be able to work safely and hold a straight line. 

Check tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels and general condition of the vehicle;

Drives vehicle from depot to loading/unloading point;

Maintains records of journey times, mileage and hours worked;

Undertakes minor repairs and notifies supervisor of any mechanical faults.

Knowledge of grades, slope and electronics.

Valid clean HGV drivers license required. 

Dependability, willingness to learn and strong work ethic required.

Qualifying questions:

Do you have a full HGV SA/EU/UK driving licence?
Do you have a Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt plaining for commercial paving projects?
Do you have experience with Wirtgen 210i machine?
Do you have a valid clean drivers license ?
Do you have knowledge of grades, slope and  electronics?
Are you fluent in English - written, reading and speaking?
Are you dependable, willing to learn with a strong work ethic?

Accommodation provided: 1st month free, thereafter €100/wk

Annual remuneration: €41,990

47.5 hrs/wk

Hourly rate: €17.00
