Heavy Duty Plant Maintenance Mechanic
This position requires you to examine drawings and specifications to determine appropriate methods and sequence of operations. Installs, repairs and services plant and industrial machinery, including Washing Plant, Crushers, Conveyor Belts, 360 Excavators, Dumpers Loading Shovels etc. Completing paperwork and working within a maintenance schedule. Minimum qualifications of level N6 with diagnostics software experience.
Tasks required by this job include:
Examine drawings and specifications to determine appropriate methods and sequence of operations. Installs, repairs and services plant and industrial machinery, including Washing Plant, Crushers, Conveyor Belts, 360 Excavators, Dumpers Loading Shovels etc, completing paperwork and working within a maintenance schedule.
Ability to work on various plant and able to use initiative and adapt easily
Controlling Machines and Processes Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to
Making Decisions and solving problems analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Inspecting Equipment to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Repairing and maintaining plant servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines,
Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
Screening Questions:
Do you have minimum of 5 years experience working on heavy duty plant machinery?
Do you have experience with diagnostic software?
What diagnostic software are you familiar with? Please provide the name of the diagnostic software that you work with?
Can you communicate in English - written, spoken and reading?
Do you have a valid SA/EU/UK driver licence?
Are you able to evaluate and determine compliance that comply with law, regulations or standards?
Are you willing to do a competency test?
Do you have a valid N6 mechanical qualification?
What year did you qualify?
Benefits
€40,000 per annum based upon a 45 hour work week.
3 month company accommodation.
Cost of Work Permit Application will be covered.
