Job Description

Sous Chef with a minimum of 5 years experience. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Helps in the design of food menu.

Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.

Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.

Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.

Ensures that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition. 

Chef qualifications

•  Recent previous experience as Sous Chef in a busy, but organised 4* star hotel/restaurant kitchen 

•  Extensive knowledge of good food handling, food standards and presentation.

•  Proven success at leading a team to achieve high standards

•  Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and motivational skills

•  Ability to motivate team

•  Sound knowledge and passion for food

•  Thorough knowledge of HACCP 

•  Thorough knowledge of kitchen management

•  Honest, reliable and hardworking

•  Demonstrate knowledge of cost structures and budget

Salary: Up to €45,000/annum based on experience
