Job Description
Job Title: Professional Quantity Surveyor with 2+years experience. Must be registered with professional council.
Key Responsibilities:
The PQS will be responsible for analysing drawings as they are received in from the client during tender stage and construction stage
Measuring and creating BOQs for projects
Re-measuring new drawings as they are issued on projects to capture any changes and cost these changes up and make senior QS aware of the value of these.
Breaking up BOQ’s into packages for issuing to subcontractors
Assisting in valuing subcontractors claims on a monthly basis and making recommendations for payment to Senior QS
Completing Valuations and creating claims on our system monthly
Going to site and measuring works monthly
Holding clarification meetings with subcontractors and completing pre award meetings for subcontractor packages
Creating criteria for pre-qualification for subcontractor tenders
Coding BOQs to be aligned with company systems.
Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in Quantity Surveying
2 years experience in PQS practice or with another construction company
Proficient in Buildsoft / Cubit and Excel.
Able to work on own initiative.

Benefits:
Gross Annual Remuneration €40-€50k per annum. (Subject to experience)
40 hours per week at an hourly rate of €19.23 or €24.04 (Subject to experience)
Will cover the Work Permit Application Cost.
Flight Costs - Yes, with a 10 week claw back.
