Job Description

Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor - Degree Quantity Surveyor with experience in Buildsoft and Cubit.

Our client is looking for a Graduate/Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team working on a portfolio of utility projects where you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management of projects. 
 
Key responsibilities:

•    As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will be assisting the Project Quantity Surveyor and Procurement Team with day to day tasks.
•    Actively work with the Senior Quantity Surveyor on live projects to achieve the best interests of the company.
•    Assist in managing subcontractor accounts and interim valuations.
•    Assist with procurement and management of subcontractors on site.
•    Assist in preparing progress applications and subcontractor packages.
•    Site visits and re-measuring subcontractors’ works and issuing reports to your manager.
•    Assist in purchasing materials for all projects.

Essential Criteria / Screening Questions:

Do you have a 3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management?
Do you have strong written communication abilities?
Do you have a valid SA/EU/UK driving licence?  (ability to travel within Ireland)
Do you have Experience using BuildSoft/Cubit Measurement Software or similar?
Are you registered with a professional body in your country? 

Benefits:
39 hours at an hourly rate of €16.77
Gross Annual Remuneration is €34,000. 
Will assist with flight costs with a claw back over 10 weeks. 
Will assist with accommodation -first month rental cost. 
Will cover Work Permit Application costs.
Will assist with 1st year residence permit costs.
