Quantity Surveyor
Our client is looking for seeking an ambitious and problem-solving Experienced Quantity Surveyor.
A degree in Quantity Surveying and experience and knowledge of commercial and contract management of construction projects is essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sub-contract tender documents
- Complete taking-off quantities and prepare bills of quantities.
- Measure and value progress on site.
- Maintain accurate site records or progress.
- Identify reimbursement events including design changes
- Develop procurement schedules.
- Procure or assist in the procurement of goods, materials and sub-contract packages.
- Maintain variation logs and justifications.
- Manage subcontractor accounts and prepare payment certs.
- Carry out cost-value reconciliation reports.
- Assist in tendering for projects.
- Compile pre-qualification documents for projects.
- Carry out analysis of project ledgers, invoices and delivery dockets to determine savings.
- Engage with company management, employees and subcontractors and assist in the overall delivery of projects on site.
Requirements
- Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work individually and part of a team.
- Full Irish Driving License
